Down Swing

The down swing to the ball is a natural uncoiling movement, timing of all the elements to return to the set-up position at the same time.

The half swing follow through must be used to maintain hip, body and arm unity. the wrists gently throw the club head down on the same angle as the backswing allowing the club to flow through the ball.

It is imperative that the club is held softly throughout the swing and no abrupt acceleration occurs into impact. this maximises power speed and distance but maintains accuracy.

The movement should be a natural free and easy swing of the club not a hit of the ball.
