On the Green

If you are putting on the green and your ball hits the flag or another ball then you occur a penalty of two stokes or in match play you lose the hole.

You can move loose impediments (leaves, twigs, stones) on the line of your putt by brushing them aside with the back of your hand.

When marking your ball on the putting green, place the marker behind the ball then lift the ball. Always replace the ball before lifting your marker.

Never walk across the line of someone’s putt to the hole.
