The James Andrews School of Golf offers an extensive range of first class practice facilities all within close proximity of each other.
The Callaway sponsored floodlit driving range at Sedlescombe Golf Club has 40 bays with 18 being covered for use during any weather, all equipped with top quality range mats and balls. The practicing golfer may aim at a variety of greens and targets that extend slightly uphill over its 250-yard length. Mirrors help you keep an eye on your position. The driving range is open until 9:00 pm during the winter and 10:00 pm in the summer.
Our seven, fully-irrigated, sand-based putting greens are a centerpiece at the golf club and floodlit for evening use. All seven of the putting greens vary in both length and slope giving you the perfect opportunity to practice all types of putts.
The 60 yard practice hole allows for full short-game work with realistic ground conditions and two bunkers of varying difficulty. The academy holes allows you to work on a range of chip shots including the chip and run, the flop shot and also the dreaded bunker shot. The hole is surrounded by trees offering a beautiful setting for practice.
The challenging 9 hole par 3 course is freely available to all golf school students on tuition days. The course is far from your average pitch and putt with fully irrigated holes varying from 90 yards to 190 yards.
