I had a fantastic time with the golf school.
As a complete beginner I came with some reservations but these were soon put to rest by the friendly welcome both of us received from all the staff and of course yourself.
Our pro was fantastic and has the right approach for those of us just setting out on our golfing careers. Everything lived up to expectation. You have a first class facility which I have been telling everyone, that will listen, about. We look forward to returning, later in the year, for the follow on course.
Please pass my sincere thanks to everyone.
See you again soon!

Just to say that I thought the Beginners Course and the coach was excellent and value for money. I did think however that if I had my choice again for the 2 full days or 3 half days that I would probably take the 3 half days as I am completely knackered.
Our pro's experience, patience and style was most enjoyable as I felt relaxed throughout. The course design was very good and covered, I thought, most of the elements that beginners need to know. The practice routines he gave me will hopefully embed into my game when I go on a practice range or golf course. The size of course was great as well as it allowed our pro to give us individual tips and hints as well as group tution. The fellow students were also delightful.
The lodge was very good with nice size rooms and other facilities. The food was also very good, the portions large, and the waiting and serving staff were very helpful and enthusiastic.
In fact I can't fault my 2 nights and 2 days at the school and I look forward to returning when my game has improved. I will also not hesitate to recommend the school to any one I meet who is looking to come to a residential golf school or golf course.
Regards and thank every one that I came into contact with as they all did a fantastic job.

I would like to thank all the staff especially the bar & restaurant who did their utmost to cater for my vegeterian diet and would go out of their way to accommodate any special request.
As for our tutor, he had an excellent and positive way of teaching. He was very tactful in pointing out errors I could improve on and by the same token complimentary on other points if the technique was near accurate. He was very encouraging in his method and very observant at all times. I would certainly come back to him for further lessons.
I hope to definitely revisit the School and might consider the membership once taking into account travel time and would not hesitate to recommend you to others.
Much appreciated.

"Hi all,
What a weekend!!!!
I came to Sedlescombe without pre-concieved ideas. I was prepared to listen and focus and hope to gain some improvement to my faltering game. Our coach showed immense patience and understanding and after two mornings of instruction I emerged with a new direction to my game which I now fully intend to follow.
The whole experience was one of warmth and genuine concern from all the staff as to my stay.
If I had to rate my weekend it would quite simply be 10 out of 10.
My thanks extend to you all but a special thanks to our coach for the professionalism and patience he showed."

"Now we are feeling less tired and achey, both of us are looking forward to going back out to practice our new skills we learnt at the school! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt like we were regular visitors! Our coaches were absolutely brilliant and made us feel so good about what we were achieving, even when we could feel things weren't as we thought in our given task, and this certainly encouraged me to want to continue as initially I didn't know whether I'd enjoy it as much as I did. I would also like to express that we were extremely impressed with all aspects of the club and our stay, outstanding food and service was constantly given and please thank the hotel/restaurant manager for making our stay even better for us. Also, please express our gratitude to both of our professionals for their excellent coaching and patience with us as we learnt our new skills. Last but not least, we would like to thank you for all you have done, it was certainly a pleasure doing business with you.
Talking of business, I've been checking out dates, and we were wondering whether we could follow up our training on 29 and 30 May and staying at the lodge on the 28th and 29th IN ROOM 7 (please!).
Again, thank you, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kindest regards"

"I thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn't fault anything. The instructors were excellent and very patient, and I really liked and learned a lot from the video section of the course. All in all, the whole thing represented excellent value."

"My three fellow 'golf scholars' and I would like to thank everyone at Sedlescombe Golf Club and The James Andrews School of Golf for the excellent weekend we've just spent with you. We cannot find a negative thing to say about it. The location was beautiful, the accommodation and hospitality offered to us were fantastic, and above all the golf tuition we received was absolutely first rate. We've certainly come away from the weekend knowing that what we've learnt is definitely going to improve our individual games.P.S. We're already planning our next weekend with you for sometime in October."

"I would like to thank you again for the excellent course you happened to run for me personally a month ago. With my irons all is beginning to click at last. I am getting anything from 10 to 30 yards increase in carry depending on the club that I am using. I entered my first competition at the weekend since your course and won the under 20 handicap section with 44 points. Can't be bad! I shot 82 (par 72) with 2-8's on the same par 4 so as you can see it was the round that nearly was!"
