"A big thank you to you and all your staff for such a brilliant weekend - both literally and figuratively! Having, with some trepidation, "dipped my toe" for the first time into the world of golf I can't now imagine a better place to do it than Seddlescombe. Everyone made me feel very welcome. The club is very friendly and relaxed and the food and accomodation were excellent as well.

[The Pro] was an excellent teacher. I can still hear him saying, "move that body, where's the follow through?" and I feel that he has put me firmly on the first rung of the golfing ladder. Having gone out onto the actual course with him I do realise however that it's a very long ladder!

I will return at some stage, hopefully when I'm on the second or third rung, but in the meantime you can probably help me out of a problem with my sons. They feel that I've failed them in my fatherly duties by not teaching them to fish! As I can't fish myself I thought that teaching them to play golf indirectly might be deemed to be a suitable substitute.

They both play golf occasionally, and by their own admissions, badly. I seem to remember reading that it is possible to buy gift vouchers for your courses. If I proceed with this idea I would probably want to give them these vouchers as Christmas presents this year for them to use sometime during 2007. Would you, please, let me have the details about doing this when they are available?
