Advanced Golf Schools – Perfecting your game
As the country’s leading Golf Academy, James Andrews is able to offer an exceptionally high standard of coaching and facilities, tailored to any skill level. Advanced golf tuition is suited to those with a handicap below 20, and ability-matched groups no larger than 4 allows us to tailor the course structure to specific needs.
A personalised work programme will be developed based on initial evaluation of your golf; enabling us to work with you on areas which require development. All of our pros are up to date with modern coaching techniques, and feel free to bring existing teaching materials along so that we can see what areas you’ve recently been working on and provide complimentary tuition.
An in depth look into the full swing will be carried out in our video analysis suite, enabling a coach to break down your swing frame by frame, and identify areas for improvement. Additionally the GC2 golf simulator can provide a comprehensive virtual depiction of launch condition, shot shape and down range values all in real time, plus display ball flight. Combined these features allow teaching and club fitting to be taken to a whole new level.
Putting, chipping, bunkers and awkward lies are all covered in this course, but the main focus will be on specific needs to ensure that you gain the most out of the experience. During the school we will continue to evaluate your needs, update your work-plan and monitor your progress, with the eventual aim of reducing your handicap.
All Advanced Schools include the following:
- Instruction with a PGA professional in a group no larger than 4
- Personalised handbook with notes, pictures and training procedures
- Unlimited use of the two golf courses and all Golf School facilities during your stay – of particular benefit when partaking in a half days course
- Unlimited range balls
- Use of indoor video swing analysis during tuition to record and improve your personal swing

Half Day/Intensive Courses
The half day advanced schools consist of 4 hours of golf tuition per day, leaving the other half free to put into practice what you’ve learnt, or explore the historic town of Battle and the lovely ‘1066’ countryside. Our extensive practice facilities and two golf courses are free to use on tuition days, therefore half day courses are the ideal way to make optimum use of your time.
Towards the end of the school you will be taken onto the golf course to play a few holes with your professional and group to help fine tune your game.
