Intermediate Golf Schools – Developing your skills
Our intermediate golf schools are designed for those who know the basics and either have a handicap or are close to obtaining one. The schools begin with an evaluation of your current golfing ability to create a personalised work programme.
All aspects of golf will be covered in an intermediate school from putting and chipping, to breaking down a personal swing. However our small group sizes (maximum of 4) ensure that you will receive individual attention and enables our PGA coaches to tailor-make the course structure to suit the needs of the group, therefore ensuring that you gain the most out of the experience.
Our extensive facilities enable our coaches to deliver the highest quality of teaching. They will work closely with you on swing improvements in the video analysis centre, and our state-of-the-art GC2 golf simulator is at the ready in the event of bad weather, delivering highly accurate and realistic indoor golf on some of the world’s most challenging and visually stunning courses. In addition to its use a simulator, the GC2 also delivers exceptional club fitting by providing a comprehensive virtual depiction of launch condition, shot shape and down range values – all in real time.
You will return home with your coaching manual and personal notes, development plan and practice routines.
All Intermediate Schools include the following:
- Instruction with a PGA professional in a group no larger than 4
- Personalised handbook with notes, pictures and training procedures
- Unlimited use of the two golf courses and all Golf School facilities during your stay – of particular benefit when partaking in a half days course
- Unlimited range balls
- Use of indoor video swing analysis during tuition to record and improve your personal swing

Half Day/Intensive Courses
Half day courses offer 4 hours of golf tuition in the morning or afternoon for 2, 3 or 5 days. Use your free time to practice on one of our two golf courses, or explore 1066 country including the historic towns of Battle and Rye. Our extensive practice facilities and golf courses are free to use on tuition days, therefore half day courses are the best way to make optimum use of your time.
Towards the end of the intermediate school you’ll be taken onto the golf course to play a few holes and put into practice everything you’ve learnt.
