Bistro on the Green – ‘The 19th Hole’
What better way to relax after a round of golf than at Bistro on the Green, offering quality home cooked food seven days a week. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering a unique blend of traditional golf favourites with modern English cuisine.
For breakfast you can choose from a full English using local produce, to eggs Benedict or poached haddock. Breakfast is served daily from 7.30am till 11am.
Freshly baked pastries and cakes are served from throughout the day, as well as a selection of freshly ground coffees. The lunch menu offers something for everyone, whether you need refueling for another 18 holes, or just a light lunch to round off a morning’s golf; choose from sandwiches such as our famous three tiered club, to a simple and tasty tuna mayo. Lunch is available between 11am and 3pm.
Dinner is a freshly made, locally sourced affair, including hearty favourites such as steak and ale pie, as well as lighter dishes such as a goat’s cheese, spinach and sun blushed tomato tart. For those looking to indulge, we serve a selection of homemade puddings from fresh strawberries with sticky meringue, to velvety smooth hot chocolate pudding. Evening meals are served between 6.30pm and 9pm.
The restaurant also has an ever changing specials board, created to make the most of seasonal produce throughout the year.
All of our residential golf schools include breakfast and the option to upgrade to half board.
